NASA Bantah Kiamat Terjadi di 2012

LONDON - Sebuah film Hollywood bertajuk '2012' telah menarik perhatian warga dunia. Pasalnya, sebuah ramalan yang beredar di internet pun menyatakan hal yang sama, bahwa dunia dan seluruh isinya akan berakhir pada tahun itu.

Bahkan, dilansir Big News Network, Rabu (11/11/2009), beberapa email yang menyebar di kalangan pen

gguna internet telah menuduh badan antariksa Amerika (NASA) menutup-nutupi kebenaran tentang kondisi planet bumi saat ini. Namun NASA telah membantah tuduhan ini dan menganggap berita tersebut hanya 'hoax'.

NASA sendiri sangat yakin jika kiamat belum akan terjadi pada tahun 2012. Pasalnya, jika prediksi yang mengatakan akan terjadi tabrakan antar bumi dengan planet lain di tata surya kita, pastinya para

astronom dunia sudah bisa memprediksi puluhan tahun sebelumnya. Bahkan sebelum tabrakan terjadi, beberapa planet yang ada dan dekat dengan bumi sudah bisa terlihat dengan mata telanjang karena jaraknya yang semakin dekat dengan bumi.

"Para ilmuwan dan astronom dunia pasti akan menjawab hal yang sama, bahwa mereka belum melihat tanda-tanda akan terjadi kiamat pada tahun 2012," ujar pihak NASA.

Lagipula, lanjut pihak NASA, planet bumi masih berada dalam kondisi baik-baik saja meski telah berumur lebih dari empat juta tahun.

Teori kiamat ini sempat menyeruak dan menyebutkan kiamat akan terjadi pada Mei 2003. Namun ketika teori tersebut tidak terbukti, penanggalan kiamat kemudian berubah menjadi 21 Desember 2012, bertepatan dengan peristiwa titik balik matahari yang terdapat dalam penanggalan kuno milik suku Maya.

NASA pun tetap bersikeras bahwa penanggalan kuno suku Maya tersebut tidak berarti dunia akan berakhir pada tanggal tersebut. Bahkan NASA tidak mendeteksi adanya penjajaran planet di angkasa dalam puluhan tahun ke depan.

"Meskipun terjadi penjajaran planet di atas sana, seperti yang telah diramalkan, tetap saja efeknya masih bisa kita hindari," ujar pihak NASA. (srn)

Bayi Bertuliskan Tulisan Ayat Al-Qur'an

MOSKOW - Ali Yakubov, seorang bayi yang berusia sembilan bulan, menghebohkan Rusia karena kulitnya bertuliskan ayat suci Alquran dan membuat dokter yang merawatnya pun keheranan.

Orangtua Yakubov sejak awal sudah terkejut dengan tanda-tanda tulisan ayat suci Alquran tersebut. Mereka melihat tulisan Allah pada kulit putra mereka setelah kelahirannya. Tulisan Allah dalam huruf Arab tersebut terletak di punggung, lengan, kaki, dan perut. Para ahli kesehatan tidak mampu menjelaskan kondisi misterius tersebut.

Namun,mereka menegaskan bahwa tulisan tersebut bukanlah buatan manusia. Ibu Yakubov, Madinam engungkapkan bahwa dia dan suaminya bukanlah orang yang religius hingga tulisan Allah tersebut muncul di kulit putranya. Awalnya mereka pun tidak menunjukkan tanda-tanda kebesaran Allah tersebut kepada orang lain, kecuali dokter pribadi mereka.

Madina mengaku, ayat-ayat suci Alquran muncul pertama kali pascakelahiran. Namun, dengan dimulainya bulan Ramadan, tulisan ayat-ayat itu mulai menghilang. "Normalnya, tanda-tanda itu muncul sebanyak dua kali dalam satu pekan pada Senin dan malam antara Kamis dan Jumat," paparnya. "Ali (Yakubov) selalu merasa resah ketika tulisan Allah itu muncul. Dia menangis dan suhu badannya naik," imbuh Madina.

Sementara seorang imam lokal, Abdulla,mengatakan bahwa dalam Alquran dikatakan, sebelum akhir zaman datang, akan muncul orang-orang dengan ayat-ayat kitab suci di tubuh mereka berdasarkan Surat Fushshilat ayat 53.

2. Blok agar file virus tidak dapat dijalankan untuk sementara selama proses pembersihan dengan menggunakan fitur 'Software Restriction Policiesa', fitur ini hanya ada di Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008. Untuk blok file tesebut lakukan langkah berikut:
* Klik menu [Start]
* Klik [Run]
* Pada dialog box [Run], ketik SECPOL.MSC kemudian klik tombol [OK]
* Pada layar [Local Security Policy], klik [Software restriction policies]
* Klik kanan pada [software restriction policies] dan pilih [Create new policies]
* Kemudian klik kanan di [Additional Rule], dan pilih [New Hash Rule].
* Di Kolom [File Hash], klik tombol [Browse] dan pilih file yang akan diblok. Pada kolom [File information] akan terisi informasi dari file tersebut secara otomatis.
* Pada Security Level pilih [Disallowed]
* Pada kolom 'descriptiona' isi deskripsi dari nama file tersebut (bebas),
3. Fix Registry dengan menjalankan file [FixRegistry.exe], silahkan download di alamat berikut http://www.4shared.com/file/117095567/3ea8e8ce/_4__FixRegistry.html
4. Hapus file induk virus yang telah dibuat. File induk virus ini akan disembunyikan. Jika file induk tersebut tidak dapat ditampilkan silahkan gunakan tools penggganti Windows Explorer seperti 'Explorer XP'. Silahkan download di alamat berikut:

Setelah software tersebut di install, cari dan hapus file berikut: svchost.vbs, desktop.ini, drvconfg.drv. SHELL32.dll, %Drive%:\Album BOKEP\Naughty America dan C:\windows.
5. Tampilkan file [TaskMgr.exe/Regedt32.exe/Regedit.exe/CMD.exe/Logoff.exe] yang disembunyikan oleh virus, caranya:
* Start]
* Klik [Run]
* Ketik CMD kemudian klik tombol [OK]
* Pada layar 'Dos Prompt' pindahkan posisi kursor ke drive yang akan di periksa
* Ketik perintah ATTRIB regedit.exe kemudian klik tombol
* Kemudian ketik perintah saya yang membedakan hanya nama file yang akan ditampilkan yakni Taskmgr.exe, cmd.exe dan Logoff.exe
6. Untuk pembersihan optimal dan mencegah infeksi ulang silahkan install dan scan dengan antivirus yang up-to-date.
7. Jika komputer sudah benar-benar bersih dari virus, hapus rule blok file [WSCript.exe] yang telah dibuat pada langkah nomor 2, caranya:
* Klik menu [Start]
* Klik [Run]
* Pada dialog box [Run], ketik SECPOL.MSC kemudian klik tombol [OK]
* Pada layar [Local Security Policy], klik 2x [Software restriction policies]
* Klik [Additional Rule]

Toko Buku Google “Google Edition”

Google bersiap meluncurkan toko buku online yang diberi nama Google Edition. Toko buku berbasis web ini direncanakan dibuka pada tahun 2010. Google sendiri telah menyiapkan sekitar 400-500 ribu bahkan lebih dari para penerbit.

Layanan ini bukan untuk menggantikan layanan Google Book Search. Layanan milik Google untuk menyajikan buku secara online itu akan tetap ada.

Untuk proses pembeliannya, Google akan memiliki dua cara. Penjualan langsung dengan 37 persen dari harga masuk ke kantongnya, atau penjualan lewat penerbit atau peritel dengan komisi yang berbeda.

Kemungkinan besar buku-buku di Google ini nanti dibeli layaknya kita membeli e-book lainnya.

It's been an exciting nine months since we launched the Google Chrome browser. Already, over 30 million people use it regularly. We designed Google Chrome for people who live on the web — searching for information, checking email, catching up on the news, shopping or just staying in touch with friends. However, the operating systems that browsers run on were designed in an era where there was no web. So today, we're announcing a new project that's a natural extension of Google Chrome — the Google Chrome Operating System. It's our attempt to re-think what operating systems should be.

Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010. Because we're already talking to partners about the project, and we'll soon be working with the open source community, we wanted to share our vision now so everyone understands what we are trying to achieve.

Speed, simplicity and security are the key aspects of Google Chrome OS. We're designing the OS to be fast and lightweight, to start up and get you onto the web in a few seconds. The user interface is minimal to stay out of your way, and most of the user experience takes place on the web. Yahoo akan menutup Situs GeoCities

Yahoo Inc hari Kamis (23/4) mengungkapkan rencana akan menutup situs GeoCities, sebuah situs web yang dibeli pada tahun 1999 seharga 3 miliar dollar AS. Yahoo juga menutup beberapa jasanya.

Juru bicara mengatakan, penutupan layanan tersebut untuk meningkatkan investasi pada jenis layanan lainnya.

Rencananya penutupan dilakukan pada akhir tahun ini. Para pengunjung situs tersebut saat ini dapat melihat pesan yang menyatakan akun GeoCities tidak berlaku lagi dan memberikan pilihan untuk membayar layanan hosting web Yahoo seharga 5,98 dollar AS per bulan atau sekitar Rp 65.000.

Belum jelas kapan Yahoo akan melakukan hal itu, tetapi juru bicaranya mengatakan keputusan tersebut baru diambil manajemen Yahoo. Selain GeoCities, layanan Yahoo yang akan dipangkas adalah Yahoo Briefcase, Farechase, My Web, iklanRSS, Yahoo Pets, Yahoo Live, Kickstart, dan Yahoo untuk Guru.

Sementara itu, Microsoft menyatakan, labanya dalam kuartal terbaru merosot 32 persen menjadi 2,98 miliar dollar AS karena tergerusnya pendapatan perusahaan akibat krisis.

Microsoft mengatakan, pendapatan untuk kuartal yang berakhir Maret mencapai 13,65 miliar dollar AS dibandingkan dengan 14,45 miliar dollar AS dalam kuartal sama tahun lalu.

Laba bersih kuartal tersebut mencapai 33 sen per saham, turun 32 persen dari 47 sen per saham, atau 4,39 miliar dollar AS, dalam tiga bulan yang sama pada tahun 2008.

”Kami perkirakan pelemahan berlanjut sekurangnya hingga kuartal depan,” kata direktur keuangan Chris Liddell. Laba dari divisi Windows turun 19 persen menjadi 2,5 miliar dollar AS dan penjualannya turun 16 persen menjadi 3,4 miliar dollar AS pada kuartal terakhir.

Sementara itu penjualan secara online Amazon.com mengalami kenaikan laba mencapai sebesar 24 persen dan pendapatan naik 18 persen.

google pecat 100 Karyawan dan menghentikan beberapa layanan

Perusahaan internet terbesar di dunia juga mengalami krisis finansial, terbukti bahwa mereka mengeluarkan pengumuman akan memberhentikan sekitar 100 orang. Tidak hanya itu mereka juga akan mentikan beberapa layanan antara lain: Google Notebooks, Google Catalogs, Dodgeball, Google Video, Google Mashup Editor, dan Jaiku

Jaiku kini tengah dimigrasikan ke Google App Engine dan akan dirilis sebagai proyek open source di Google Code. Walaupun Google tidak akan terus mengembangkan Jaiku, layanan ini tetap akan online.
Dodgeball yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengirimkan informasi lokasi mereka melalui SMS akan diberhentikan dalam beberapa bulan mendatang.
Mashup Editor yang masih berada dalam tahap beta privat akan digantikan oleh Google App Engine.
Google Notebook tetap akan dapat dipakai, tetapi tidak akan menerima pendaftaran pengguna baru. Extension browser Notebook juga sudah tidak akan dapat dipakai lagi. Google menyarankan penggunaan SearchWiki, Google Docs, Tasks di Gmail dan Google Bookmarks sebagai gantinya.
Catalog Search pada awalnya dibuat untuk mendemonstrasikan teknologi Optical Character Recognition, tetapi kini mereka sudah lebih banyak mengembangkan Book Search.
Google sudah menghentikan fitur upload ke Google Video dalam beberapa bulan terakhir, walaupun pengguna masih diperbolehkan menonton video yang sudah berada di server Google. Dihentikannya layanan ini sebenarnya memang sudah diprediksi sebelumnya saat Google mengakuisisi YouTube di 2006.

Sulit ditebak apakah Google akan memberhentikan layanan-layanan lain yang belum begitu mapan dalam waktu dekat ini. GrandCentral yang diakuisisi Google tahun lalu sampai sekarang masih belum dibuka untuk publik, selain itu Google Knol yang dibuat Google untuk menyaingi Wikipedia juga ternyata tidak begitu populer.
